Formerly the New York Times building, Pace University’s building at 41 Park Row was originally constructed in 1888 and is the oldest surviving structure of Lower Manhattan’s former ‘Newspaper Row.’ Acquired by Pace University in 1951, the building remains largely untouched. Fradkin & McAlpin Architects sought to design the New Executive Suites to preserve and celebrate the buildings history, while respectfully reorganizing its spaces to accommodate contemporary office suites.
